The “I AM” series is an ongoing body of work focused on identity and its formation from perspectives. In this series, I investigate how to express the experience of coming to, creating, and changing identity and the process of how identity changes. The following questions pursued are the basis of this investigation.
- What defines an individual person?
- Is it others’ perspective of you that effects your character or does your character create others’ perspective?
- Do we truly have power over our destiny, or is our destiny per-determined due to our identity?
